The entire dredger and its Backacter are controlled by a PLC control system. This system consists of two high performance PLC touch screens and an optional data logging system. All important data can be stored and used for diagnostics. Via GPRS and the internet we can remotely monitor and check the system. This has advantages when working in remote places. It avoids sending engineers for problems which can be solved remotely.
