Shipyard De Donge was founded in the late 19th century in Raamsdonksveer, The Netherlands. The name originates from the river “De Donge”. During the 1970’s work in the traditional repair shipbuilding was deteriorating and from 1974 De Donge started to concentrate on servicing the dredging industry.
